The perfect wedding venue
Flowers at a Kinlet Hall wedding

Exclusively yours on your wedding day, Kinlet Hall is one of the most magnificent houses in rural Shropshire. This historic country house, with its classical hall and picturesque grounds, is a perfect venue for the ceremony and celebration of marriage. We’re able to offer Kinlet Hall to you to create the event you want. We are also happy to help you organise your special day, taking the stress out of your hands.

Inside the house, four interconnecting reception rooms, each distinct with classical features, cater for up to 120 seated and 160 standing. By adding a marquee on our West Front lawn, the number of guests can comfortably be extended to much larger gatherings.

If you would like to come and see Kinlet Hall, we would be delighted to show you around.

Our Invitation to You

We invite you to enjoy all that the Georgian Grade I house and 100-acre grounds have to offer. Whether it is the abundance of rhododendrons in bloom through May to June, or a roaring log fire welcoming you into the warmth of a historic home during the colder months, there is something special here all year round. Many of our past clients keep in touch with us and will be happy to speak of their special day at Kinlet Hall.

Extensive Grounds

Our extensive grounds embrace both the majestic sweep of parkland and, close to the house, eight acres of secluded lawns, borders and woodland. These provide many beautiful locations for photographs. The West Front is a spectacular setting for the reception drinks and canapes. Our lawns on both sides of the house offer abundant space to spill out for fresh air and garden games.

"The setting is absolutely stunning."

Civil Ceremony

We are registered with Shropshire Council as a licensed venue for civil ceremonies. Couples holding their civil ceremony here will experience a Shropshire wedding surrounded by history in one of the three main reception rooms. The size and location of these rooms allow you to choose just the right space, whether a small, intimate gathering or a larger group. Following the ceremony, the East Front steps and the West Front lawn both provide wonderful settings for photos.

"Kinlet Hall was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding ceremony."

A Fine Church in our Grounds

Couples choosing a religious ceremony will find the parish Church of St John the Baptist a short walk from the Hall. A stroll along the scenic drive or a wander through the wooded gardens takes you straight to this beautiful Norman church, perfect for those looking to have their special day all on one site.

Couples wishing to use Kinlet Church will need to contact the Cleobury Mortimer Benefice Office on 01299 272916 at least six months in advance.

"Our wedding was just fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better day."

Following your civil or religious ceremony, the Hall provides versatile and elegant reception rooms for your drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebration.
